Police are hunting for a man caught on CCTV after a spate of attempted burglaries within half a kilometre area.
Neighbours of a disabled pensioner whose window was smashed in on Friday, March 21, captured these images of a man in Proctors Close, off Lock's Lane in Mitcham.
The burglar knocked over a vase as he attempted to break in at about 10pm, alerting residents to his presence.
Nothing was stolen but two disabled residents woke up to find their kitchen window smashed and wide open.
Detective Inspector Daniel O'Sullivan, said: "We've connected that burglary to similar other incidents in the surrounding roads so we are working on those images, trying to investigate."
D Insp O'Sullivan said there were three or four attempted burglaries in the area on Friday night.
