It might sound far fetched, but online retail giant Amazon is testing the use of drones to make deliveries.
The drones, called Octocopters, could be dropping packages weighing up to 2.3kg on your doorstep within 30 minutes of placing the order, chief executive Jeff Bezos said.
Called Prime Air, the new Amazon service can be seen in action in a promotional video - see below.
But don't expect a drone delivery anytime soon. The US Federal Aviation Administration has yet to approve the use of unmanned drones for civilian purposes. And as for the UK's Civil Aviation Authority....
