Residents failing to spot heart attack signs

Most Londoners are putting their health at risk by missing the signs of a heart attack, according to a survey.

Nine out of ten Londoners do not know that mild discomfort of the chest could be symptomatic of a heart attack, the YouGov poll revealed.

The findings come as the British Heart Foundation (BHF) relaunched its 'Doubt Kills' campaign across the capital this week.

The aim is to raise awareness of heart attack symptoms and the adverts show a man with a belt strapped around his chest, urging people to call 999 if they have chest pain.

The campaign will appear on billboards and bus adverts across London.
