POLICE want to speak to these two men in connection with a violent assault and robbery.

A 17-year-old youth was hit on the head with a metal pole during the attack in a children's play area in Betts Park, Penge.

The victim, who suffered life-threatening injuries, is still in hospital in a serious condition following the incident on September 11.

The suspects, who stole a wallet and two mobile phones before running away, are black and in their late teens or early 20s.

One has a dark skin and is around 6ft tall.

He was wearing dark clothing with a hood up.

The other has lighter skin, has slight facial hair and is approximately 5ft 5in tall.

He was also wearing dark clothing and a brown hat.
