THE family of a Thamesmead 16-year-old who was stabbed to death have reacted with shock to the news his death is being used to whip up race hatred.
Details of Julian "Buster" Knight's murder on July 15, together with his photograph, is being featured on the far right National Front's website, citing him as one of many hundreds of British victims of immigration.
A family member said: "We are appalled. How dare they."
Crowds of teenagers and family and friends attended Julian's funeral at St Augustine's Church, St Augustine's Road, Belvedere, last Friday, to pay their respects before his burial at Hillview cemetery in Welling.
A petition in his name, against knife crime by young people, can be found at PetitionThem.com
