POLICE are taking the unusual step of appealing for a victim of crime to come forward.
In the early hours of Saturday CCTV camera operatives witnessed a woman being attacked outside a bar in Ilford.
But when police got to Eastsides Bar, in Cranbrook Road there was no sign of the victim and now the police are trying to track her down as they are concerned for her well being and fear she may have suffered head injuries.
The woman, who was white, was seen being assaulted by two black women at 1.30am.
Two women were arrested and have been bailed to return to Ilford police station on May 5.
Call DC Kwaku Ankapong at Ilford CID on 8345 2710.
