A TWENTY-year-old woman was sexually assaulted near a park as she was walking home.

The woman was assaulted by two men in Springfield Gardens, Acton, in the early hours of Thursday, December 14.

She was travelling down Horn Lane in Acton when she noticed the two men and their dog following her.

As she neared the park the men tried to talk to her but she ignored them.

Her attackers then forced her into the centre of the park where she was sexually assaulted.

She eventually managed to escape from her attackers and ran out onto Creswick Road where she flagged down a passing motorist who called the police.

The first suspect is described as being mixed race, wearing a camouflaged jacket with a hood.

The second man is also mixed race, wearing a dark or maroon hooded top with grey top underneath.

The dog was a light coloured pit bull.

A spokesman for Ealing Borough Police said: "We are treating this incident very seriously. We are anxious to trace the offenders and would urge anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may appear, to contact us."
