A MAN who raped a 24-year-old woman after holding her at knifepoint is being hunted by police.

The victim was walking along Westmoreland Road, Bromley, after a night out with friends when she was grabbed from behind.

She was forced to walk at knifepoint to Cameron Road, where she was raped.

The suspect, who is black, aged 32 to 35 and of average build, ran off owards Letchworth Drive, after the attack on November 27, at 2.30am.

He was wearing a denim jacket, red top, dark coloured bottoms and white trainers.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Peter Rance said: "This was a particularly nasty attack.

"It's important that the person responsible is caught as soon as possible.

"I would advise women in the area to let someone know where you are.""
