British Transport Police want Croydon Guardian readers to help nail these train-passenger robbing thugs.

The first robbery took place on July 1 at 12.45pm on the 12.30pm train travelling from Sydenham to West Croydon.

A man was approached and punched in the head before his bank cards and a mobile phone were stolen.

The robber is described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, 6ft, wearing a thick gold chain. The man also has a gold tooth. He was wearing a grey tracksuit top, dark blue jeans and black leather gloves.

Police believe the man put on a pair of gloves prior to carrying out the attack and left the train at Norwood Junction.

The second incident occurred on Sunday, July 31, between 11.10pm and 11.15pm on board a train travelling between West Croydon and Selhurst.

A man sitting alone was approached and surrounded by a group of men, thought to be of Afro-Carribean or mixed race and aged around 17.

They punched and kicked the man before stealing a Nokia 6630 mobile phone, cash and a hat.

A third robbery took place on Friday, September 30, at 4.45pm on board a train travelling from Norbury to Streatham.

Three men approached a man and threatened to stab him before demanding he hand over his bag.

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 19 years of age, of proportionate build with facial stubble.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded top, a patterned t-shirt and dark blue tracksuit bottoms.

The second is described as a black male, approximately 5ft 10in, of proportionate build with short hair.

He was wearing a navy blue hooded anorak and dark trousers.

The final suspect is described as a black male, approximately 17 years of age and of proportionate build.
