AN e-fit image has been released after a woman was dragged into an alleyway and subjected to a serious sexual assault in the summer.

Police have issued the picture after the incident, which took place in High Wycombe, was recently reported to them.

At around 8pm on Thursday, June 16, a woman walking down Rutland Street was approached by a man who pushed her into an alleyway before sexually assaulting her.

The woman was able to get a good look at her attacker, and has helped detectives produce the e-fit.

Her attacker is described as Asian in his late 20s to early 30s, 5ft 8ins, of slight to medium build with a distinctive birthmark on his right cheek approximately the size of a 10p piece.

At the time of the attack he was wearing a blue zip-up top, khaki T-shirt, faded jeans and a watch with a Velcro strap.
