A BUCKHURST Hill girl beat off competition from 200 other hopefuls to celebrate her sixth birthday in style with a Barbie makeover.
Jennifer Kutner, of Starling Close, discovered she had won the beauty competition just as her birthday was approaching.
Her mother, Nadia, said it was the perfect birthday present. "The team from Barbie came to our house and gave Jennifer and her friends a dream makeover. They had their make-up and hair done and had temporary tattoos put on for the day."
Jennifer, a keen Barbie fan, entered the promotional competition as she and her mother were shopping for the Barbie fragrance in London's West End.
Jennifer's photograph was taken alongside the perfume and judged against 200 other entries.
Mrs Kutner said: "When we heard the result it was nearly Jennifer's birthday so we decided to hold it on that day.
A limousine picked up Jennifer's friends and drove them to our house where the party was held."
Braeside School pupil Jennifer was joined by classmates Tania Sohi, five, and Shreena Patel, five.
Mrs Kutner said: "The girls had a lot of fun and really enjoyed themselves, they were smiling all day. It was a joy to see them."
