A Borehamwood fraudster has been forced to pay out more than £90,000 after he was convicted of trading in counterfeit goods.
Yosef Arvatz, of Kensington Way, was sentenced to ten months' imprisonment for his involvement in the unlawful sales of socks and mobile phone covers. Assets Recovery Agency (ARA) Financial Investigators, in partnership with Swansea City Council Trading Standards, was successful in obtaining the confiscation order of £91,391 after locating assets belonging to Mr Arvatz. During the investigation, he breached bail and fled to Israel, but was repatriated and sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on October 6.
