THE gunmen behind a series of apparently random shootings in Walthamstow are believed to have struck again Last week we reported that shots had been fired into family homes in Walthamstow and Leyton.
Detectives are linking a shooting into a house in Brookscroft Road to the attacks.
DS Neil Lemon, of the Met's shootings team, said: "Fortunately no-one was injured. The attack happened in the late evening of Monday, October 3. Cartridges were found nearby and we are analysing them."
Patrols of armed police are touring the area.
No-one has been injured in the shootings, but we recently reported that a disabled man cheated death when the gunmen struck his home in Waverley Road. Anyone with information is urged to contact the incident room on 8217 7355 or to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
