EALING: Northolt pupils go green

Pupils from schools across Northolt got creative in order to host an environmental festival.

The youngsters who took part in the Learning Action Zone event wanted to get green ideas across to Northolt residents.

The festival finale was held at Northala Fields Park in Northolt on Wednesday, with a range of stalls, banners, presentations and a music march to showcase their work.

Beth Anderson, creative consultant for the project said: "The festival provides an amazing opportunity for students to engage in more creative learning, a chance to interact with their natural environment, and to share their learning with their peers, both from primary and secondary schools".

The pupils worked with artists to create pieces of work based around the theme - Greening Northolt - which aims to show how to keep Northolt environmentally friendly.
