SCHOOLGIRL cricketer Isa Guha was named player of the tournament at last weekend's Women's European Championships.
Guha, who is still only 16, outclassed all her rivals as she claimed the best bowling figures of the weekend.
The High Wycombe player produced figures of seven wickets for 27 runs over three matches to earn her top player award.
But even her impressive bowling couldn't help England to victory overall in the championships.
The hosts saw off both Holland and Scotland at the event in Reading but failed to overcome Ireland, the eventual winners. England had to settle for second.
But Guha's dad Barun said the weekend still proved a good experience for his daughter.
He said: "She did very well. She couldn't believe that she was player of the tournament."
