EALING: Strike affects more than 50 schools
More than 50 schools across the borough will be affected by strike action today.
Teachers belonging to the NUT union are staging a 24-hour strike in protest over pay.
Twenty-six schools will be fully closed, including Acton High and Elthorne Park High, as well as four the special schools.
A further 31 schools will be at least partially closed due to a lack of staff.
The decision to close schools rests with headteachers.
For more information and details of closures visit www.ealing.gov.uk.
