A Dartford nursery has won a prestigious award for its high standard of food.
KTB Kids picked up the Food for Life Catering Mark Gold Standard prize, that they had been working towards for ten months, after an inspection earlier in October.

KTB Kids director Katie Ballard said: "It’s taken a lot of hard work and effort to get this award but when you are shaping the future eating habits of children, it’s so important.
"Parents send their little ones here for a stimulating and educational environment.

"Now, we’ve assured them that their children are eating top quality and nutritional food.
"We're very proud of this achievement."
The Gold Standard looks at where food is sourced, how it is produced and addresses issues of health.
KTB Kids, in Spital Street, spends 37 per cent of the overall food bill on organic ingredients - 15 per cent above the benchmark that you need to reach the award.
