A Hayes secondary school is celebrating after it was awarded world class status.
Hayes School in West Common Road has received the World Class School Quality Mark (WCSQM) after a rigorous assessment process.
The award recognises state secondary schools, which go beyond the highest Ofsted inspection grade Outstanding and demonstrates students are a class apart.
Eighteen state secondary schools in the UK have received the WCSQM this year.
Principal Kieran Osborne said: “We are delighted to have achieved this award which is well deserved recognition of our students’ skills and commitment to their learning and personal development.
