Press Release: Thursday 30th April: The Brent Primary School Book Swap The Brent Primary School's Parents, Friends and Staff Association today held a book swap event.
Pupils were asked to bring in a book and were then able to choose another book to take home. The Worshipful Mayor of Dartford Cllr Avtar Sandhu MBE joined the event and the children enjoyed showing him their new books.
PSFA Secretary Kelly Grehan said 'Throughout the year we run lots of events which raise money which we use to purchase things for the school, but we also like to do things like this, which don't generate any profit, but which engage and reward the children. The children love reading, so look forward to getting new books and seeing their delight is excellent.'
