Sky broadcasters Gemma Morris and Angela Barnes spoke about their careers in the media at a Richmond College lecture last week.
More than 100 media and English students attended the talk, on March 4, which explained how an episode of their TV series Swipe is made.
Mr Morris, who studied A-levels in sociology, photography and film studies at the college between 2000 and 2002, said it was good to be back.
She said: "It was a pleasure to be back at my old college after 13 years and great to chat to so many keen and interested students.
"Angela and I were both very impressed with their insightful questions and really enjoyed out visit."
Principal Robin Ghurbhurun added: "We were delighted to have Gemma and Angela visit the college to share their industry expertise with our students.
"We were also very proud to have a successful member of our alumni back with us.
"Gemma is a wonderful example of a student who was made in Richmond and who can inspire our current students to go on and achieve their career ambitions.
"It was great to have her back."
