WALTHAMSTOW: Man detained on suspicion of terrorism released without charge

A man who was arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences has been released without charge.

The 24-year-old and two other men from east London have been detained since last Wednesday.

They were questioned by by the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command at a central London police station on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.

A warrant granted by a judge last Friday, which gave police more time to question the trio, was due to expire today.
