WANDSWORTH: Three men charged with murder

Three Wandsworth men have been charged with the murder of a 36-year-old.

Terry Clark, 24, from Burns Road, Battersea, Lewis Clark, 21, from Mill House, Patmore Estate, Patmore Street, Wandsworth, and 21-year-old Ian Jenkins were all charged today with the murder of Steven Bates.

Police found Mr Bates collapsed in Tennyson Street, Batteresea, on February 14 at around 11.59pm.

Mr Bates, who died at the scene, had injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

But a postmortem examination at St George's Hospital, Tooting, found he had died from a stab wound to the neck.

All three men are due to appear before South Western Magistrates' Court today (April 24).
