Tottenham teenager stabbed for his bike

A young man was stabbed in Tottenham last Friday by a thug after his bike.

The 17-year-old, recovering in hospital from a punctured lung, was smacked in the face and knifed in his back outside fast food restaurant Chick King, High Road, Tottenham.

The man then snatched the bike and loaded it into a yellow car with the help of a female accomplice.

Both suspects are described as black.

The pair then took off heading north along the High Road at approximately 22.45pm.

Detective Constable John Tudor said: "The suspects used an unusual level of violence in this robbery.

"We expect that there would have been people in the area that may have seen something and we would ask anyone with information to come forward and help us to catch these violent offenders."

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC John Tudor of Harinegy Robbery Squad on 020 8345 0870 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 anonymously.
