HARROW: Officers raid cannabis factory
Police raided a house in Kenton and arrested a woman on suspicion of growing cannabis.
Harrow officers arrested the 48-year-old at a house, in Kelvin Crescent, and seized around five hundred cannabis plants and specialist growing equipment.
The woman is being questioned by police, and the plants and equipment have been taken away for forensic analysis.
Sergeant Sukhi Singh, who led the raid at around 2pm yesterday, said: "This was an ordinary house in a quiet street, specifically rented for the sole purpose of growing cannabis.
"The discovery of this factory and the seizure of such a large quantity of plants and equipment will undoubtedly have a major impact on the people supplying and selling cannabis."
