SOUTHWARK: Police seek son over mother's murder

Detectives are on the hunt for the son of a woman who was stabbed to death in a "frenzied attack" in south-east London.

Rose Jatto, 61, was murdered at her flat in Kenbury Gardens, Camberwell,on Sunday.

Scotland Yard are searching for her son Wehinmi Metsagharun, who is in his 20s and believed to be sleeping rough within the London area.

They issued a picture of him on Tuesday as the hunt for his mother's killer continues.

A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of her death as stab wounds to the neck.

A police spokesman said: “This was a particularly frenzied attack, with the victim being stabbed repeatedly. We urgently need to hear from anyone who may know anything about what happened.”
