The Conservatives have won the first three seats to be declared at today's District Council election count.
The only casualty so far is Liberal Democrat Doug Kelly, who lost his Moreton and Fyfield seat to Tory Tony Boyce by a 14 vote majority.
Of the other seats declared Maggie McEwen has held her High Ongar, Willingale and the Rodings seat and council leader Di Collins has retained her Passingford seat.
