A Tory councillor has defended his decision to walk out of a "dreadful" meeting with residents on Saturday.
Councillor Jeremy Zeid, who represents Kenton West ward on Harrow Council, said Labour councillors and residents stopped him speaking at a public meeting about the redevelopment of the town centre.
He said: "It was dreadful. The fact is that it was a public meeting and a big plea was made about democracy.

"But every time someone wanted to make a point they were told to shush."
Councillor Navin Shah, leader of the Labour group on the council, addressed a meeting of around 100 residents about the authority's plans to redevelop a number of sites.
Cllr Zeid accused Cllr Shah of telling "half truths" and spreading "false information" and said he might think twice about going to similar meetings in future.
He said: "They were going on about the height of the development and they tried to bring the library into it and the five year lease on Garden House, but there's no need to go on about that.
"I wasn't feeling very well and I didn't see any use in sitting there and having fingers pointed at me.
"It just got to me after a while. I don't have any regrets about walking out."
