E-fit image released of man believed to have indecently exposed himself in Banstead

Do you recognise this man? Do you recognise this man?

Police have released an e-fit image of a man they believe indecently exposed himself to a woman in Banstead.

The incident took place when the woman, in her 30s, was walking along an alleyway between Burgh Heath and Holly Lane East at 9.30am on Wednesday, September 26.

A man then indecently exposed himself to her, without making any physical contact.

He is described as white, in his late 40s to early 50s, of large build, 5ft 11in to 6ft tall, and was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Surrey Police officers believe the incident is linked to another which took place at 3.45pm on October 2, along The Drive in Banstead.

Detective Constable Matthew Jones said: “This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and we need to find the man responsible.

“I am appealing to members of the public to help us with our investigation. Did you see anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident?

“Do you recognise the man from the e-fit?  If you can assist with the investigation in anyway please contact us with information.”

Anyone with information should call the police on 101 quoting reference RB/12/7919 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
