Plans: The application has proved controversial Plans: The application has proved controversial

Three further conditions of the controversial Jolly Boatman planning application were approved by councillors at a planning meeting on Monday.

Four conditions were due to be discussed at the north area subcommittee planning meeting at the Civic Centre, Esher, on Monday, October 15.

One condition, protection of Hampton Court Bridge, was withdrawn before the meeting.

Molesey councillors spoke at some length about the conditions and the three conditions discussed were confirmed in an uncontroversial manner.

Councillor John O’Reilly said he believed the withdrawn condition would be discussed at a future meeting.

The planning application for the Jolly Boatman site has 56 conditions which must be approved by Elmbridge Council before building can commence.

Gladedale has until June 16, 2013, to start building on the site before planning permission ceases.
