The Remembrance Day parade is under threat if enough volunteer marshals do not come forward.
SWANLEY’S Remembrance Day Parade is under threat due to a lack of volunteer marshals.
The parade is planned to be held between 2pm and 3pm on Remembrance Sunday, November 11.
Organised by Swanley Town Council and the Royal British Legion, the parade passes through the town centre and finishes at the Civic Centre car park in St Mary’s Road.
Geoff Lees of the Royal British Legion said: “We desperately need people to help for just an hour.
“Without these marshals the parade will not be permitted to take place and the opportunity to honour our deceased comrades this year will be lost.”
If you can help out contact Liz Davies at Swanley Town Council on 01322 665855 or email towncouncil@swanley.org.uk for more information.
