Whiteley Village care centre has received further accolade for excellent care levels.
Following a recent visit, inspectors from the Care Quality Commission confirmed that Whiteley Village “meets or exceeds all the essential standards of quality and safety” demanded in care homes.
The report said the staff in Whiteley House and Huntley House “were very caring towards people using the service”, an impression confirmed by residents that the village’s staff are “kind, caring and helpful”.
The report also noted that Whiteley Village residents felt safe and liked living in the village.
Mike Roycroft, chief executive, said: “This report comes after we were commended by the gold standards framework a few months ago, and follows last year’s success in the prestigious awards organised by the Surrey Care Association.
“Whiteley Village is delighted to be receiving so many accolades from these important organisations; together they offer great piece of mind to people who are looking for a care provider, whether for themselves or a loved one.”
