Bexleyheath man dies after receiving chest wounds at home

A 90-YEAR-OLD Bexleyheath man has died after receiving chest wounds at his home.

Walter Kurnick, of Percy Road, had collapsed when paramedics found him after responding to an emergency call at 8.20am on October 2.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich in a critical condition.

A post-mortem examination, on October 4, revealed he died of a cardiac arrest as a result of his chest wounds.

Police say there is no evidence any other person was involved.

They are not looking to speak to anyone else in connection with the matter.
