Deptford Pepys estate flat fire in Oxestall's Road tower block

Fire Brigade tackles Deptford Oxestall's Road towerblock blaze
THIRTY firefighters have tackled a tower block blaze at the Pepys estate, Deptford, which led to 50 people being evacuated.
Crews were called out to the fire, which was in a fifth floor flat on Oxestall's Road, at 1.07pm.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said the fire was brought under control around an hour later.
The spokesman said: "The fire damaged a maisonette on the fifth floor.
"Around 50 people evacuated the building."
