Staff doing their bit for the good cause
Bank staff dressed as superheroes on Friday to raise cash for a cancer charity.
People working in Barclays in The Town, Enfield Town, wore the unusual attire as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee morning – which raised £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff served customers hot drinks and cakes to custimers and branch manager Tracie Paddock spent seven hours running on a treadmill to raise cash for the cause.
She said: "It was fantastic to take the time to show the local community why we are supporting Macmillan and boost staff morale too.
"Macmillan is a cause that is close to the hearts of many of our staff so the coffee break was just the icing on the cake."
