The bus will be in Bexley on Monday and Tuesday.
SMOKERS in Bexley are encouraged to kick the habit next month as part of a new campaign called Stoptober.
Being staged by the Bexley Care Trust, the Stoptober bus and campaign team will spend time in Bexleyheath Broadway and Erith next week.
The trust says those who quit smoking for a month are five times as likely to stop for good.
The Quit Smoking bus will be in the Broadway all day on Monday and Tuesday (October 1 and 2).
Members of the trust will also be outside Morrison’s in Erith between 9:30am and 1:30pm on Wednesday (October 3) where people can get their lung age checked.
For those unable to make it to the events next week, a free Stoptober pack is available at all GP practices, pharmacies and dental practices until the end of October.
