Residents are being urged to vote for some of Epsom’s best-loved green spaces to win a national award.
The People’s Choice Award is an annual online vote that gives the public the power to decide which of the 1,424 parks or green spaces flying the green flag award, a national award recognising the best green spaces in the country, or community award, should be named the site of the year.
Four green spaces in Epsom and Ewell have gained the green flag award - Epsom Common Local Nature Reserve, Ewell Court Park, Nonsuch Park and Alexandra Recreation Ground.
To vote, visit www.greenflagaward.org.uk, select your region on the interactive map, find your favourite park or green space and click the ‘vote for this site’ button. Voting closes at midnight on October 14.
