M25 crash site accident as 'emergency services' worker hurt in second incident

Suspected emergency services member injured at M25 crash site
A PEDESTRIAN believed to be a member of the emergency services has been injured on the M25 near Orpington while attending another accident.
This has led to the closure of the M25 clockwise carriageway between junctions 4 (Orpington) and 5 (Sevenoaks).
The first incident involving one vehicle happened around 1.40pm at junction 5 near south Chevening and one person sustained a minor injury.
While attending the accident, at around 2.15pm, a pedestrian, believed to be a member of the emergency services, was involved in a further incident with a car on the M25 near to the M26 on the clockwise carriageway.
Clacketts Road slip junction is closed to the clockwise carriageway.
The road is likely to be closed for several hours as the serious collision investigation unit attend.
Traffic is being diverted off along the A21 slip road, rejoin the motorway from the A21.
Both carriageways of the M26 were closed to allow the air ambulance to attend and reopened at 3.50pm.
