A MAN has denied murdering his mother whose decapitated body was found in the flat he shared with her in Forest Hill earlier this year.

Daniel Coriat, aged 43, pleaded not guilty to murdering 76-year-old Elizabeth Coriat, the Old Bailey heard today.

The pensioner’s body was found in Taymount Grange on March 24 and a post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as blunt trauma and multiple injuries.

Coriat’s trial will begin on January 28 next year.
