Bupa St George’s Nursing Home in Cobham celebrated “talk like a pirate day” on Wednesday, September 19.
The day, which originated in the United States, is an excuse to be silly and have fun.
Staff and residents at the home, along with their relatives, wore pirate costumes and talked about films like Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan.
Residents enjoyed themselves and really got into the spirit of things by speaking in pirate voices.
