Firefighters called after teenager gets stuck in baby swing in Thamesmead
A TEENAGER was very embarrassed last night (September 22) as firefighters had to be called after she got stuck in a baby swing in Thamesmead.
Her friends were laughing at the 15-year-old and adults came out of their homes to take pictures of the trapped girl.
Crews from Plumstead fire station were called at about 10pm and freed her by undoing the chains at the top of the swing then lubricated the seat.
The incident in the playground near Booth Close took the firefighters around 30 minutes to deal with.
Watch manager Peter Moore, from Plumstead’s blue watch, said: “We recommend that children’s play equipment is kept for children to play with and not used by youths.”

At the very least a fine might make her & her mates think twice about being twonks in the future.

up to no good!
she knew she would not fit the baby swing, so yes i agree a fine would have been appropriate, now the kids have lost a swing, and the council need to pay to fix it... how unfair is this?
i see this as vandalism, if they were caught smashing something up, police would have charged them.. this is no different. its not a funny story to laugh at...

B) No report of drink.
C) FB freed her by undoing the chains at the top of the swing then lubricated the seat.
Maybe trolls should read the news report first.
