Full of beans: Soul singer down by the riverside
A soul singer who featured in adverts for Branston Beans, HP Sauce, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s will perform for a crowd on the riverside at Kingston.
Tommy Blaize is a singer, keyboard player and composer who has turned his hand to songs, radio jingles, dance records and TV performances.
He featured as part of the music team for the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and Dance Fever and has provided backing vocals for artists including Craig David, Connor Reeves and Lewis Taylor.
His touring and recording partnerships include Sting, Phil Collins, the Beach Boys, Gary Barlow, Take That and Bruce Willis.
The artist, known to wear a different hat for every performance, will perform soulful jazz at the Boaters Inn, Kingston.
He will be joined by Simon Carter on the piano, Phil Mulford on bass and Geoff Dunn on drums.
