A family shot dead in the French Alps are from Claygate, police have confirmed.
Police named the father of the family as Saad Al-Hilli and confirmed where the family live.
A four-year-old girl was found alive in the back of a car found yesterday afternoon in a car park near a forest in Lake Annecy, according to French police.
The bodies of a man and two women - said to be the girl’s mother, father and grandmother - were in the bullet-ridden British-registered BMW.
The car was found yesterday in the popular tourist destination and quiet French town.
A seven-year-old girl was found nearby in a critical condition, and a cyclist was also shot dead.
Police are investigating whether the shooting was connected to two attempted car jackings the night before.
