PC in court over police computer misuse charge
A POLICE officer suspected of wilfully misusing the Police National Computer and database records has appeared in court.
Eileen Rose Arthurs, of Wansunt Road in Bexley, was sent to the crown court after being charged with wilful misconduct in a public office.
The 52-year-old PC is accused of misusing the police computer and database in Gravesend between December 15, 2003 and March 21 this year.
She has been suspended from her job on full pay and, at Dartford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (July 12) was granted unconditional bail to appear at a preliminary hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on July 30.
