Academy Award winning lyricist Sir Tim Rice and former international cricketer Shane Warne will head up two teams of fundraising cricketers at a special 20/20 charity cricket match on Ham Common.
Also featuring Richmond Park MP Zac Goldsmith, the Ham and Petersham Cricket Club event at 4.30pm on Thursday, July 5, will raise money for a range of charities.
Community centre The Vineyard, which provides shelter, food and support to Richmond’s homeless, Kingston cancer charity Momentum, and a fund for a new clubhouse for the 200-year-old cricket club will all benefit.
The event is free but donations are welcomed.
