GRANTS of up to £5,000 are available from Bromley Council for people who want to run short term breaks for disabled children.
The money will be given to groups running innovative projects, especially those where siblings can also attend.
Appplications will be evaluated by a group of parents of disabled children and also by the council’s young advisors group.
Portfolio holder for children and young people Councillor Ernest Noad said: “The council’s short term breaks team would like to hear from people with an understanding of the needs of disabled children and young people and their families who want to apply for funding to deliver a specific project.”
The deadline for applications is May 9 and successful applicants will be notified by May 28.
