Places are filling up for two events designed to help people who want to start a new business.

The workshops will give anyone thinking of starting a new business, whatever age or stage, positive and helpful advice.

An introductory evening on Wednesday, April 18, takes place at Riverhouse Barn, Walton, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

It will give an overview of the options available when choosing to work for yourself and key things to consider to avoid making common mistakes. An all-day workshop is also scheduled for Tuesday, April 24, from 9am until 3.30 pm.

It will go in to further depth about how to strengthen a business plan. Steve Bridger, author of Success Before Start-Up, will present both events.

Dominic Raab, MP for Walton and Esher said: “This is a fantastic initiative and all credit goes to Walton Business Group and Steve Bridger for setting up a forum that can provide practical advice for budding entrepreneurs.”
