Tolworth Broadway flat fire causing travel disruption

A flat fire near Tolworth Broadway is causing traffic disruption in the area.
Dozens of firefighters have been attending a fire which appears to be emanating from a flat above Pound Value.
Plumes of smoke can be seen from above the shop.
The A240 Tolworth Broadway northbound is shut between the A3 Tolworth Roundabout and the A240 Ewell Road.
London Fire Brigade said it was called at 4.50pm to the flat fire.
A spokeswoman said 60 percent of a four room flat was damaged but had no information about any casualties.
Police closed the road heading toward Surbiton at about 5.45pm and are directing traffic.
There are no delays on the A3.
Bus routes 281, 406, 418, K1 and K2 are on diversion via Ewell Road past Tolworth Tower.
