Man dies on construction site Man dies on construction site

A 55-YEAR-OLD man has died from a heart attack on a construction site in Sydenham.

Emergency services were called to the site in Longton Avenue at around 4.20pm on Monday.

According to the London Ambulance Service, the man died of a heart attack and was pronounced dead shortly after 5pm.

Police say a post-mortem will be carried out in due course.

Scraping the bottom of the barrell again, not exactly regional news is it, people die from heart attacks every day. I'm sorry for the bloke and his family, but really NS get your act together

It probably made the news as the air ambulance landed in the middle of the road in sydenham and there was a lot of police activity and ambulance, it did look like a major incident at the time so I guess maybe some-one contacted the NS.

Sincere condolences to the family. I agree this is very misleading. I assumed from the headline it was a death caused by something on the building site, an accident of some sort. Really News shopper how many more times must you do this, whatever you are trying to acheive you fail miserably.
