POLICE have appealed for help after five arson attacks at Turkish and Kurdish community centres across north London.
The attacks include the Turkish Community Centre in Centre Way, Edmonton, at 4am on November 26, and the Turkish Islamic Cultural Centre in Caxton Road, Wood Green, at 11.30pm on December 2.
Officers believe the attacks could be linked as all of the targets are buildings used by the Turkish and Kurdish communities – including Zaman newspaper in Drayton Park.
Nobody has been hurt in any of the incidents.
Commander Mak Chishty, responsible for borough policing in north London, said that police were carrying out extra patrols in the area.
