A RUBBISH fire at a skip on the border between Orpington and Sidcup has now been fully extinguished.
The fire in Cornwall Drive, Orpington, started at about 6.40pm on Saturday.
Though it was brought under control in the early hours of Sunday morning, it has taken several days for firefighters to damp down the entire pile of rubbish.
The fire was fully extinguished in the early hours of this morning and firefighters have now removed all their equipment from the site.
The A20, which has been partially closed since Saturday, has now fully reopened.
